Michigan State remained undefeated through the Wooden Legacy tournament and also stayed No. 3 in this week's Associated Press college basketball poll.

The Spartans (7-0), who received two first-place votes, trail No. 1 Kentucky and No. 2 Maryland in the poll. Kansas and Iowa State round out the top five.

The Spartans return to action Wednesday night in the Big Ten / ACC Challenge with a home game against No. 24 Louisville (7:15 p.m., ESPN).
