MSU women vault to No. 18 in AP hoops poll

A big victory led to a big jump in the Top 25 for the Michigan State women’s basketball team.

Michigan State (12-3) moved up five spots to No. 18 in this week’s poll, released Monday, one day after its 74-51 victory over then-No. 16 Northwestern in East Lansing.

The Spartans have won eight of their last nine.
