College Park, Md. — Maryland will make up its snowed out home game against Michigan State on Feb. 5.

As a result, MSU will now take on Michigan on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 4.

The Terrapins were scheduled to host the Spartans last Saturday before a major snowstorm caused both schools and the Big Ten to postpone the game.

The makeup with Maryland was initially rescheduled for Monday, but officials quickly realized the snow would not be sufficiently cleared by then.

Maryland is currently ranked fifth. Michigan State is No. 18.

Maryland became the 14th Division I program to reach the 900-win mark last week at Wisconsin.
