Ann Arbor Skyline wide receiver Hunter Rison announced via social media he's recommitting to Michigan State.

The announcement comes after the son of former Michigan State and NFL wide receiver Andre Rison decommitted in November. The 5-foot-11, 183-pound receiver was the first member to commit to MSU's 2017 recruiting class in June.

He had offers from Arizona State, Alabama, Akron and Central Michigan, according to Scout.com.

Trieu: Tough Kevin Jarvis, MSU a great fit

"I am forever grateful and blessed to reach this point," Rison wrote in a text message. "This was not an easy decision, but I know I have made the right one. I'd like to everyone know that I am honored to commit to Michigan State University ... It's just where I belong, simple as that. I took a step back from my commitment earlier because I needed to .. I don't think anybody can truly make that decision as early as I did, but I accept the hate for it.

"In all honesty, it's not about me anyways..it's about the team. MSU deserves a national title and I just want to help in any way I can.#4VMSU #GoGreen."
