Less than a week after securing 20 commits for its 2018 recruiting class, the Michigan State football team appears to be making plenty of headway with its 2019 class.
Jordan Huff, a three-star prospect from Madison (Ga.) Morgan County, provided MSU a late-night Christmas gift Monday, committing to the Spartans via a video posted on Twitter.
He becomes the fourth member of the 2019 MSU class, and second to commit to the Spartans in five days, following four-star cornerback Julian Barnett of Belleville. Huff is the first of the quartet to hail from outside of Michigan.
Huff is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound cornerback/receiver classified as an athlete by 247Sports, which ranks him the No. 42 athlete in the country for 2019, and No. 48 player in Georgia. He is No. 400 overall.
Huff also has offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Iowa State, among others, according to 247Sports.
Huff joins a class that includes Barnett, four-star Oak Park quarterback Dwan Mathis and four-star Walled Lake Western offensive tackle Spencer Brown. The class is ranked No. 11 nationally, and third in the Big Ten, according to 247Sports.
