The Michigan State football team received its second commitment from Ohio in four days when three-star guard Nick Samac announced he’ll play for the Spartans in 2019.

Samac, a 6-foot-4, 260-pound guard from Mentor, Ohio, revealed his decision Sunday on Twitter. His commitment comes three days after Youngstown (Ohio) Catholic Mooney linebacker Luke Fulton said he would play at Michigan State.

Samac is rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports. He’s ranked No. 898 overall, and No. 35 at his position and No. 45 overall in Ohio, according to 247Sports.

Michigan State has nine verbal commitments in its 2019 class, including five from Michigan and three from Ohio. The class, which is made up of two four-star prospects and seven three-star prospects, is ranked No. 21 in the 247Sports Composite.
