Michigan State will close the regular season with an afternoon game against Rutgers. The teams are set for a 4 p.m. kickoff Saturday, Nov. 24, at Spartan Stadium.

Michigan State made the announcement Monday.

The game will be televised on Fox, and carried on 760 on the radio.

The Spartans have two games remaining to improve their bowl destination. They are 6-4 with games at Nebraska (noon Saturday, Fox) and at home against Rutgers. They are coming off a 26-6 home loss to Ohio State.

Rutgers is 1-9 and 0-7 in the Big Ten.
