Former Michigan State All-American Lorenzo White will attend next week’s Big Ten Kickoff at the Hilton Chicago.
On Friday, July 19, White will be recognized as a 2019 member of the College Football Hall of Fame, and he will be available for autographs at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT.
Other special guests at the Big Ten Kickoff are fellow College Football Hall of Fame members Tom Osborne and Barry Alvarez, legendary coaches at Nebraska and Wisconsin, respectively.
White is the 10th Michigan State player in the College Football Hall of Fame. He was an All-American in 1985 and 1987 – finishing fourth in Heisman Trophy voting both seasons – and was Big Ten Player of the Year in 1987.
White is the only Michigan State player to lead the team in rushing four seasons, and he holds nearly every MSU career rushing record, including yards (4,887), attempts (1,082) and touchdowns (43).
The College Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place Dec. 10 at the New York Hilton Midtown.
