Michigan State sticks at No. 15 in women's college basketball poll; Michigan drops out

Michigan State maintained its No. 15 spot in the Associated Press women's Top 25, released Monday, while Michigan dropped out.

The Spartans (5-0) won both of their games last week, 76-56 over Oakland, and 79-34 over Hartford. They take on LSU on Friday in the Junkaroo Jam in the Bahamas.

Taryn McCutcheon and Michigan State are ranked No. 15 in this week's women's Top 25.

Michigan (4-1) lost its only game last week, 76-72 at home to Notre Dame.

There wasn’t any movement in the top 10 this week, with Oregon leading the way with 28 of the 30 first-place votes. Baylor was second, receiving the other two first-place votes. Stanford, UConn and South Carolina followed.

Texas A&M, Oregon State, Louisville, Maryland and Mississippi State round out the top 10.

Oregon, Baylor, South Carolina and Louisville will be in the Virgin Islands playing in a tournament this week. The Ducks will play the Cardinals while the Lady Bears face the Gamecocks.
