Connor Heyward reflects, projects in final days of winding MSU career

East Lansing — It’s fitting that as Connor Heyward prepares to play his final game at Spartan Stadium he’s finally feeling at ease.

At ease with his place on the team, his place in the game and with himself.

“Every day I'm just getting more comfortable with who I am as a person and just more comfortable with who I am in my role,” Heyward said this week as No. 12 Michigan State prepares to host Penn State. “Football is about the team and everybody has a role. When guys don’t know their role, that’s when things go south.”
