Detroit News predictions: Michigan State football vs. Penn State

The Detroit News

Matt Charboneau, Angelique S. Chengelis, John Niyo and Bob Wojnowski of The Detroit News predict the outcome of Saturday’s Michigan State-Penn State game at Spartan Stadium (3:30 p.m., ABC/760).

Matt Charboneau: This is another matchup that doesn't look ideal for the Spartans on paper, but at this point in the season, not many do. Sure, Michigan State's pass defense has been abysmal the last few weeks and the Spartans aren't exactly healthy on either side of the ball. However, the Nittany Lions have been ailing, as well, and their offense has had its own issues. Assuming Kenneth Walker III is close to 100%, the Heisman longshot could be in position for what is likely his final game at Spartan Stadium, leading Michigan State to its 10th win and an undefeated mark at home. Michigan State, 27-24
