From the first play from scrimmage this season, it was clear what would drive Michigan State’s offense.

When Kenneth Walker III took a handoff from Payton Thorne and dashed around the left side of the line and down the sidelines at Northwestern for a 75-yard touchdown run on the first play of the season, the die had been cast.
