Five-star running back Miles Sanders of Pittsburgh's Woodland Hills High is a Penn State commit but has entertained the idea of taking official visits to other schools, including Michigan State.

MSU coaches visited Sanders last week when the dead period ended, and they anticipated that Sanders would return to favor with a trip to East Lansing the weekend before the Feb. 3 National Signing Day.

Over the weekend, however, Sanders wrote on Twitter that he was firm with the Nittany Lions and would not take visits to schools other than Penn State.

"I want everybody to know that this recruiting process isn't easy," Sanders wrote. "I'm just making sure I go to the right school that's best for me. After talking with my family and mentor, I want to let Penn State and alumni know that I am 100 percent committed to the university.  I won't be taking any other official visits but to Penn State. I'm confident for the future and can't wait to get rolling."

Sanders (6-0, 200 pounds) rushed for 1,523 yards and 16 touchdowns this season for Woodland Hills.
