Luke Campbell, a four-star offensive lineman from Olentangy High in Lewis Center, Ohio, gave a verbal commitment to Michigan State during his weekend visit to East Lansing.
Campbell (6-4, 275 pounds), ranked the No. 24 guard in the nation by Scout.com, received a number of offers recently as his recruiting stock rose.
He went into his MSU visit with three finalists -- Maryland and Iowa State were the others -- and the Spartans came away as the winners.
Campbell is the 20th commitment to MSU's 2016 class and the fourth offensive lineman, joining early enrollee Thiyo Lukusa of Wayne, New Jersey, A.J. Arcuri of Powell, Ohio, and Matt Allen of Hinsdale, Illinois.
A former Michigan State commit, four-star athlete Jonah Morris, on Sunday announced he was headed to Indiana. Morris, from Akron, Ohio, is ranked the No. 21 athlete in the nation by Scout.com.
