Tom Anastos has had a difficult time at Michigan State since taking the job coaching hockey, but athletic director Mark Hollis is sticking with him.

Hollis told the Lansing State Journal he has “full confidence” in Anastos, the former Central Collegiate Hockey Association commissioner, who has a 71-98-20 record in five years, including 10-23-4 this past season.

“I feel really good about where we’re at,” Hollis said. “From all the assessments I’ve put into this and all the folks I’ve talked to, I’m very confident we’re going to have success here next year and in the immediate future.”
