Matt Charboneau, Angelique S. Chengelis, John Niyo and Bob Wojnowski predict the outcome of Saturday's Michigan State-Ohio State game.

Michigan State running back LJ Scott will need an outstanding game for the Spartans to beat the No. 2 Buckeyes.

Matt Charboneau: Michigan State is feeling good after last week’s victory over Rutgers and certainly has confidence playing Ohio State with two wins in the previous three matchups. The Buckeyes, however, are one of the top rushing offenses in the nation and the Spartans haven’t shown the ability to consistently get stops on defense. Ohio State 37-20

Angelique S. Chengelis: Big, bad Ohio State is coming to East Lansing probably looking to avenge last year’s loss. Michigan State returned to the win column last week, and while Ohio State should win, it will be tough. Ohio State 35-14

John Niyo: It’s Senior Day, but it’s the underclassmen who’ll be littering the field. That may bode well next season, but not against this Ohio State team. And don’t think the Buckeyes are looking ahead to “The Game.” Not after what happened a year ago in this game. Ohio State 45-21

Bob Wojnowski: Normally a 9-1 team might overlook a 3-7 team, but not in this case, not after what the Spartans did to the Buckeyes last season, crushing their title hopes. Mark Dantonio  has a decent formula against Ohio State — run the ball, run the clock — and LJ Scott provides a little hope. But Urban Meyer’s Buckeyes are rolling and they’ll be eager to pile up style points. J.T. Barrett will carve up a young, battered defense. Ohio State 41-13
