Top recruit Bowen will visit MSU for Sunday’s game

Michigan State will have a special visitor for Sunday’s game against Michigan at Breslin Center.

Brian Bowen of La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana, changed his visit to Sunday’s game from an unofficial visit to an official one. It is the last of five official visits the 6-foot-7, 195-pound forward can make.

Bowen, who is from Saginaw and is the cousin of Spartans great Jason Richardson, is ranked the No. 16 player in the nation by 247Sports, 12th by ESPN, and 19th by Rivals and Scout. He is a teammate of MSU signee Jaren Jackson.

Arizona, Creighton, North Carolina State and Texas are Bowen’s other finalists.
