Michigan's Jake Ryan, who has a team-high 68 tackles, is one of 15 semifinalists for the Butkus Award, which is presented annually to the nation's best linebacker.

Ryan, a senior from Westlake, Ohio, also leads the Wolverines with 10 tackles for loss.

Erick Anderson won the award for Michigan in 1991.

Award finalists will be announced Nov. 24 with the winner selected Dec. 9.
