Students who want Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon out are hoping to attract national notice at the Michigan-Indiana game at Michigan Stadium on Saturday.

Two-thousand T-shirts bearing the words "We Support THE TEAM THE TEAM TEAM #FireDaveBrandon," funded by an anonymous donor, have been made, the Michigan Daily reported. The plan is to distribute them to student organizations, with the hope enough people will wear them in the student section during Saturday's game to attract the television cameras' notice.

"The athletic department routinely deflects responsibility," UM senior Craig Kaplan, who is organizing the T-shirt protest, told the Michigan Daily. "You see that with the Shane Morris case, you see that with the Brendan Gibbons case. (Brandon) has his priorities completely off the wall.

"I think everyone deserves the ability to have a second chance. Unfortunately, he's on his fifth or sixth."

Brandon and coach Brady Hoke have been under fire for the Wolverines' poor start and because backup quarterback Shane Morris remained in the Minnesota game after suffering a concussion.

Brandon has announced lower UM football ticket prices for students starting next season.
