Angelique S. Chengelis: Michigan needs a win to become bowl eligible and although the players say reaching a bowl isn't their focus, this is the best chance to get a victory — it plays at Ohio State next week. The Terrapins are expected to be without WR Stefon Diggs, and Michigan is coming off a bye. Michigan 20-17

Matt Charboneau: Maryland ran for 6 yards last week in a loss to Michigan State and it might not get a whole lot better against Michigan. This will be Michigan's best shot to become bowl eligible, so expect seniors like Devin Gardner to do enough in their final home game to deliver. Michigan 27-17

Bob Wojnowski: It's not much, but salvaging a bowl bid out of a disastrous season would count for something. The Wolverines defense has improved and remains capable without Frank Clark. And the Terrapins don't run or pass efficiently — QB C.J. Brown is their leading rusher. It's the home finale but, I doubt Brady Hoke will show extra emotion, although he has to feel it. Michigan 23-14

John Niyo: A healthier Devin Gardner should be enough to send the Wolverines' seniors out on a positive note. Or what passes for it in Ann Arbor these days, anyway. Michigan 24-20
