A full night of Wolverine basketball on Big Ten Network

Ann Arbor — Michigan fans can spend their Saturday night at home with a full slate of basketball coverage on the Big Ten Network.

Following the UM game against Northwestern, which tips at 8:20 p.m., the network will air episodes of “Big Ten Elite” and “The Journey” featuring the Wolverines basketball team.

At about 10:15, the “Big Ten Elite” episode will look back at the 2013 run to the Final Four, led by five starters who made it to the NBA: national player of the year Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr., Nik Stauskas, Glenn Robinson III and Mitch McGary.

UM went 31-8 and lost to Louisville in the title game after getting back to the Final Four for the first time since the Fab Five era in 1992-93. The run was punctuated by the stunning comeback victory over Kansas in the Sweet 16, with Burke’s 30-foot 3-pointer in the final five seconds, which sent the game to overtime.

In “The Journey” episode, current Wolverines junior guard Caris LeVert will be featured. LeVert leads UM is scoring, rebounding, assists and blocks this season.
