The Detroit News

Jaylen Brown, ranked the No. 1 basketball recruit in the country by Scout.com, was charged with two misdemeanor traffic violations Wednesday in Cobb County, Ga., according to a report.
Brown was arrested by Cobb County Police and charged with driving on a suspended license and a stop sign violation, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Brown was released on $1,300 bond, the report said.
Brown, a 6-7, 215-pound small forward, took an official visit to Michigan earlier this month. He also has taken officials to Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina and UCLA.
Brown, a senior from Wheeler High in Marietta, Ga., is a consensus five-star prospect.
