UM wins, moves to WNIT semifinals

Cyesha Goree had 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead Michigan into the semifinals of the Women's National Invitation Tournament with a 69-60 victory at Southern Mississippi on Sunday.
It was Goree's 17th double-double of the season.
Nicole Elmblad scored 14, Siera Thompson 13, Shannon Smith 11 and Katelynn Flannery 10 for the Wolverines (20-14), who face UCLA on Wednesday at the Crisler Center at 7 p.m.
Michigan went on a 20-2 run in the first half and the closest Southern Mississippi got after that was six points.
