UM ends dynamic pricing for football tickets
Individual tickets for Michigan's seven home football games will vary in price from $55 to $115, with three price tiers per game.
The rivalry games against Michigan State and Ohio State will be the highest-prices tickets, with seats going for $95, $105 and $115.
Michigan this year is abandoning dynamic pricing, which is the practice of continually adjusting single-game ticket prices based on real-time market conditions.
Individual tickets will go on sale in July.
"We are making the changes to our individual ticket options based on feedback from our fans," David Ablauf, Associate Athletic Director for Football Communications, said in a release Tuesday. "This variable pricing structure creates more options to accommodate the various priorities of our dedicated fans. The new pricing model was developed following fan feedback and analysis of ticket sales patterns."
Season-ticket pricing remains unchanged at a price of $455 (average of $65 per game). With the rollout of this new pricing model, it represents at least a $90 savings over purchasing each ticket individually.
