Michigan has added a quarterback commitment to the 2016 freshman football class.

Four-star quarterback Brandon Peters committed to the Wolverines on Friday, the eve of Michigan's first spring game under new coach Jim Harbaugh. He confirmed it via Twitter.

The 6-foot-4, 198-pound Peters, from Avon, Indiana, is ranked the No. 20 quarterback prospect in the nation for 2016 by Scout.com.

He is the third commitment to the 2016 class.
