With the nonconference schedule already released, Michigan learned the remainder of its schedule Thursday, with the release of the Big Ten conference slate.

The Wolverines open conference play on Dec. 30 at Illinois and the schedule features just eight single-play matchups — including hosting rival Michigan State (Feb. 6) and playing at Ohio State (Feb. 16).

The five teams that UM plays twice are Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Purdue and Penn State. The road Penn State game will be Jan. 30 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

February presents the toughest part of the schedule, with matchups against MSU, at Ohio State and at defending champion Maryland (Feb. 21), then at Wisconsin (Feb. 28).

The Wolverines finished 16-16 last season, 8-10 in the Big Ten.
