It is unclear whether Michigan starting cornerback Jourdan Lewis, who missed the second half of last Saturday’s home opener because of a concussion, will play this weekend.
Lewis, the Wolverines’ top corner, suffered the concussion late in the first half of the Oregon State game. Dressed in street clothes, he watched the second half from the sideline.
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, making his weekly appearance Thursday morning on “The Stoney and Bill” show, said Lewis is progressing but could not indicate his status.
“I don’t make those determinations, that’s made by the doctors,” Harbaugh said. “He’s progressing and getting back to practice. The doctors look at the progression and see where he’s at today. We’ll find out how he’s feeling today.
“He’s back in class, and he’s back doing some things on the football field. We’ll make that determination and the doctors will make that determination as the week progresses.”
Michigan plays UNLV on Saturday at Michigan Stadium.
