There might be two Harbaugh head coaches on the Michigan sideline at Byrd Stadium when the Wolverines play Maryland in the Big Ten opener on Saturday.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, making his weekly appearance on the “Stoney and Bill Show” on WXYT-FM (97.1) Thursday, dipped into his movie-reference chest when asked if older brother John will make it to the game. John Harbaugh is head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, who play at Pittsburgh Thursday night.

Harbaugh said having his brother there is a possibility but added that John has “a lot of duties and responsibilities.”

“I’ll be like Ricky Bobby,” Harbaugh said, referencing the Will Ferrell NASCAR-themed movie. “I’ll leave some passes there at the will call and hopefully he’s able to come but understand if he can’t.”
