UM's Jake Butt a semifinalist for national award

Michigan's Jake Butt is one of eight semifinalists for the Mackey Award, which goes to the nation's top tight end.
Butt, a junior from Pickerington, Ohio, leads all Big Ten tight ends with 38 receptions and 500 yards.
He has at least one reception in 13 straight games.
The winner of the Mackey Award will be announced Dec. 9.
