Harbaugh topic of new book: 'Take This Job & Love It!'
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is the subject of a new book by best-selling author Rick Wolfe.
Net proceeds from the book, "Take This Job & Love It!" will be donated to the ChadTough Foundation.
The Foundation was created by Tammi and Jason Carr to honor their late son, Chad. Chad Carr was 5 when he died last month from an inoperable brain tumor. The Carrs are a big part of the Michigan football fabric. Jason Carr played quarterback at Michigan, Tammi's father, Tom Curtis, was a Michigan All-American defensive back and Jason's father, Lloyd Carr, was a long-time Michigan head coach.
Harbaugh and his Michigan players were close with Chad Carr and dedicated the Indiana game last month to him. The players wrote #ChadTough on the back of their helmets and captains Joe Bolden and Joe Kerridge delivered the game ball to Chad the next day. He passed away eight days later on Nov. 23 after a 15-month battle with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). The ChadTough Foundation is raising money for research to find a cure for DIPG.
The book, which features 32 pages of photographs, is $27.95. To order it and to read an excerpt, visit: http://www.chadtoughharbaughbook.com/
