Michigan to hold tryouts for football team
Got what it takes to play Division I football?\
Michigan will hold open tryouts for full-time students on the Ann Arbor campus Jan. 23 at Glick Field House, according to a post on MGoBlue.com.
Check-in and registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the south entrance to Glick, and the tryouts will begin at 10.
Those interested can’t be more than six years removed from high school unless on active military duty and/or a religious mission.
Students hoping to be eligible will need to stop by Schembechler Hall from Wednesday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to drop off and verify all necessary paperwork that is outlined in the tryout packet.
The football team will provide a practice jersey for the tryout, but each student is responsible for his own workout apparel, indoor athletic shoes and/or cleats.
