Michigan will be without one of its leading defensive tackles next season.

Willie Henry announced Wednesday night on Twitter that he was declaring for the NFL draft.

“I have decided to continue my football career in a more professional direction,” Henry tweeted.

Henry played in 35 games for Michigan from 2013-15, after redshirting in 2012 season. He had 86 career tackles (40 solo, 46 assisted) and 10 sacks.
