Four-star DT Jordan Elliott decommits from Michigan
Four-star defensive tackle Jordan Elliott from Houston Westside High is the latest to decommit from Michigan's 2016 recruiting class, according to Scout.com's Jason Higdon.
Elliott is the fifth player in the past week to decommit from Michigan. The first day of the national signing period is Feb. 3.
The 6-foot-4, 300 pound lineman's decommitment was not a shock, though, as it has been speculated that he will commit to Texas, according to multiple reports on social media.
Elliott is ranked as the No. 105 best high school player in the nation and No. 14 at his position by Scout.com. He runs the 40 in 5.10.
He announced his commitment to Michigan after the Wolverines lost to Ohio State Nov. 28, choosing UM over Alabama, Baylor, Florida State, Oklahoma and USC at the time.
