While the SEC commissioner is challenging Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh’s decision to take his team to Florida for a week of practice during spring break, Harbaugh will be rubbing elbows with celebrities and professional golfers while playing in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Harbaugh is among the celebrities listed on the AT&T tournament site, along with Wayne Gretzky, Justin Timberlake and annual event fan-favorite, actor Bill Murray. Harbaugh will kick things off participating in Wednesday’s practice round in advance of the tournament, which begins Thursday. The cut is after three days, setting up Sunday’s final round.

This is not the first time Harbaugh, who has been on the West Coast the last several days for Sunday’s Super Bowl and also to raise funds with interim athletic director Jim Hackett for a new football weight room, has played in the event. He also participated while coaching the San Francisco 49ers.

He most recently teamed with reigning PGA champion Jason Day in 2013.
