Football coaches Mark Dantonio of Michigan State, Bret Bielema of Arkansas and Butch Jones of Tennessee trolled Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh Wednesday.

Harbaugh finally bit on Jones’ bait.

“Suggestion to my Rocky Top colleague, rather than lunch in Florida you might spend your time and focus attending to your present team,” Harbaugh wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

Bielema started the interaction by posting this Wednesday: “After early meetings & lift tomorrow with our players. Thinking about heading to watch an open practice tomorrow at IMG with the staff.”

Dantonio retweeted Bielema with this comment: “Want to do lunch?”

Jones later added: “Mind if I join you guys for lunch? @DantonioMark @BretBielema”

Just after 2 p.m. Thursday, Harbaugh decided to fire back.

Harbaugh is in Bradenton, Fla., with the Michigan team conducting four spring practices at the IMG Academy.

Last Friday, right before Michigan departed for Florida, Jones offered Tennessee scholarships to 20 IMG Academy players -- 13 in the 2017 class, six in the 2018 class and one in the 2019 class.

Jones, a Michigan native and former Central Michigan head coach, and the Tennessee athletic department have come under scrutiny recently for a Title IX lawsuit was filed against the school.

Jones is facing allegations he called a player a “traitor” for helping a woman who said she was sexually assaulted by two Tennessee teammates.

In the lawsuit, eight women accuse Tennessee of having a “hostile sexual environment” that allegedly favors athletes.
