Michigan, EMU will play in 2K Classic

Michigan and Eastern Michigan will be among the participants in the 2016 2K Classic, which will hold its championship rounds at Madison Square Garden in New York in November.

The tournament, benefitting the Wounded Warriors Project, also will include Pittsburgh, Marquette, SMU, IUPUI, Gardner-Webb and Howard.

The first games will be held on campus sites, before shifting to New York on Nov. 17-18.

The schedule and matchups haven't yet been released.

The games will be televised on ESPN's family of networks.
