Michigan wins Big Ten women’s gymnastics title

Michigan won the Big Ten women’s gymnastics championships Saturday night in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Wolverines, who won their 22nd league title, had 197.125 points to 196.900 for host Nebraska. Michigan State was seventh with 195.475.

Brianna Brown (bars) and Nicole Artz (beam and floor) won individual Big Ten titles.

Artz, Brown and Olivia Karas were named to the All-Big Ten team.

“There is no feeling to describe this,” Artz said. “We’ve been through a lot this year so we are very excited to win the Big Ten.”

The NCAA Tournament schedule will be announced at 4 today.
