Michigan will need new host for camp in Australia

Michigan’s satellite camp stop in Melbourne, Australia, has had a slight change.

According to a tweet from Prokick’s Nathan Chapman, the June 3 camp can no longer be hosted by Prokick.

“Sorry to announce that due to some NCAA rules, Prokick can NOT host the Michigan Camp here in Australia,” Chapman wrote.

Six coaches were expected to attend Michigan’s satellite-camp stop June 3 in Australia. While Prokick can no longer host, Michigan can still go to Australia for a camp.

“Coach H (Jim Harbaugh) decided to get the coaches to keep flying and come to see us in Australia,” Chapman said in an email earlier this month to The Detroit News. “Coach H was a man of his word and said, ‘Yeah, OK, let’s do it.’”
