Michigan State fell to No. 24 from No. 13 and Michigan made the AP men's basketball poll for the first time on Monday.

The Wolverines are tied for No. 25 with Florida State after a 4-0 start heading into Wednesday's game at South Carolina.

The Spartans (2-2) will face St. John's on Wednesday.

Kentucky (4-0) moved into the top spot from No. 2 while former No. 1 Duke (4-1) fell to No. 6.
