Michigan has received a commitment from four-star cornerback Myles Sims, who made the announcement Friday on Twitter.
The 6-foot-2, 173-pounder from Atlanta picked Michigan over Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Michigan State and Notre Dame, among others.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank God for the immense amount of blessings he’s poured into my life to allow me to be in this position,” Sims wrote on Twitter. “I would also like to give thanks to my parents and my brother for their never ending support and guidance that they’ve given me throughout this long process. … I would like to give a special thanks to all the universities for offering me full scholarships to play on the next level and the coaches that I’ve built relationships with. … With that being said … I would like to commit 100 percent to the University of Michigan.”
Sims, who is ranked the No. 8 cornerback in the country by Rivals and No. 17 by 247Sports, joins four-stars Emil Ekiyor, Aidan Hutchinson and Otis Reese in Michigan's 2018 class.
