Michigan guard Katelynn Flaherty’s collegiate career is not quite over yet.
Flaherty, who is UM’s career scoring leader with 2,776 points, has been selected to the 30th annual State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships Thursday at the campus of St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.
Flaherty is the second UM player in program history to compete in the event. Kate Thompson participated in the 2013 contest and made it to the semifinals.
Flaherty (410) is one of two players in NCAA Division I women's basketball history to hit at least 400 3-pointers. She holds the UM single-season record for 3-pointers (118) and the single-game record (10). Her 2,776 points ranks her 27th in NCAA Division I history.
