Four-star cornerback / athlete Te’Cory Couch, a Tennessee commitment, has flipped to Michigan.

"I thank God and my parents and coaches for help leading me in making this difficult decision but I am proud to announce that I am flipping my commitment to the University of Michigan," he wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

Couch's decision was first reported by 247Sports.

Couch is Michigan’s eighth commitment to the 2019 class, and sixth four-star recruit. He is ranked the No. 27 athlete in the 2019 class nationally and the No. 292 prospect overall by 247Sports.

He took an official visit to Michigan over the weekend. Michigan canceled its spring game that was to be held Saturday at Michigan Stadium and instead held a scrimmage attended by family and recruits.

“I’m talking a lot with (defensive coordinator) Don Brown,” Andrew Ivins of 247Sports reported from a conversation he had with Couch before he took his Michigan visit. “He loves me. He tells me that I’m the No. 1 corner on his board all the time.”
