The Michigan football team continued to stock up on offensive linemen, getting a verbal commitment Wednesday night from three-star guard Zach Carpenter.
The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller star revealed his commitment on Twitter. He’s the Wolverines’ 11th commitment for the 2019 class, and the fifth offensive lineman.
Carpenter is the 19th-ranked offensive guard in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite, and ranked No. 18 overall in Ohio.
With Carpenter’s pledge, Michigan boasts the fifth-ranked recruiting class of 2019, and first in the Big Ten.
