Giles Jackson, a four-star all-purpose back from Freedom High in Oakland, Calif., on Monday committed to Michigan’s 2019 recruiting class.
Jackson (5-8, 175), who is ranked the No. 5 all-purpose back nationally for 2019 in the 247Sports Composite, picked the Wolverines over Oregon, Oregon State, Florida and USC.
Michigan already has a commitment from the No. 3 all-purpose back in the 2019 class, Eric Gray of Memphis, Tenn.
Jackson is the third commitment for Michigan in the last two days and the 22nd pledge in the 2019 class.
On Sunday, Michigan received commitments from 2019 defensive end Mike Morris of Delray Beach, Fla., and 2020 tight end Nick Patterson of San Antonio. Patterson is the brother of Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson.
