Michigan-Villanova rematch to tip at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14 on FS1


It’s time to set the TiVo.
The Big East and Big Ten released the start times and TV designations for the 2018 Gavitt Tipoff Games on Thursday and the Nov. 14 rematch between Michigan and Villanova will tip off at 6:30 p.m. on FS1.
The highly anticipated contest will be played at Villanova’s newly renovated Finneran Pavilion and will come seven months after the Wildcats topped the Wolverines, 79-62, in the national title game.
Thursday’s announcement was the final piece of Michigan’s 2018-19 schedule, with tip times and TV info for the rest of the slate being released last week.

Banner day
Michigan announced Thursday it will hold a banner raising ceremony for its 2018 Big Ten tournament title and Final Four appearance before the regular-season opener against Norfolk State on Nov. 6 at Crisler Center.
The first 5,000 fans will also receive a commemorative mini banner to celebrate last season’s achievements.
Individual tickets for the Norfolk State game start at $15 and are available for purchase at mgoblue.com/tickets.
Single-game tickets for the rest of Michigan’s home games will go on sale Oct. 2 for donors and Oct. 3 for the general public.
