From all accounts, Michigan-Wisconsin qualified for "big-game" treatment, hence, the presence of ESPN's College GameDay. But it also delivered in overnight television ratings.

Michigan won the prime-time game, 38-13, at Michigan Stadium on Saturday night and delivered a 3.6 overnight rating, tops for the ABC/ESPN family in college football’s Week 7. This is the sixth straight Saturday that the highest-rated primetime game aired on either ABC or ESPN.

Not surprisingly, the Detroit market had the highest local rating with an 18.1. And the No. 2 market? That would be Columbus, Ohio, at 15.9.
