Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is planning a sleepover at recruit Connor Murphy’s home Tuesday night in Arizona, but details are still sketchy.
Murphy is a four-star, 6-foot-7, 250-pound defensive end from Brophy Prep in Phoenix.
“To be honest, I’m not sure where he is going to sleep yet,” Murphy told the Los Angeles Times for a story Tuesday. “It should be fun.”
Last week, Harbaugh reportedly spent the night at top-ranked kicker Quinn Nordin’s home in Rockford, Michigan.
Harbaugh famously babysat at the Murphy’s home eight years ago during a recruiting visit when he was coach at Stanford. Harbaugh was recruiting Trent Murphy when Murphy’s mom thought she was going into labor. Harbaugh stayed as babysitter.
“Coach Harbaugh sat on my living room floor with me and we drank milk and played chess,” Connor Murphy told the L.A. Times.
Connor, expected to visit Michigan this weekend, will make his college decision known on National Signing Day, Feb. 3. He will choose among Michigan, Alabama, Arizona State, Oregon and USC.
