Michigan is looking better in the eyes of the oddsmakers. Not so Michigan State.

Johnny Detroit of has Michigan as a 10-1 choice to win the 2017 national championship. That puts the Wolverines second, tied with Clemson, only behind defending champion Alabama, a 13-2 favorite. Michigan’s odds improved from last month’s opening odds of 12-1.

Michigan State opened at 25-1, but the Spartans now have 32-1 odds.

Cincinnati, Kansas State and North Carolina State have the longest odds at 500-1.
