How to watch: Michigan vs. Notre Dame

The Detroit News
John Beilein watches over Michigan's practice Thursday in Brooklyn.

Michigan didn’t play its best game but still got past Tulsa in a First Four contest on Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio.

Now the Wolverines move to Brooklyn, N.Y., for a first-round game Friday night at 9:40 p.m. against Notre Dame. The Wolverines are a No. 11 seed while the Irish earned a No. 6 seed for the NCAA Tournament.

Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman has been a fearless presence in Michigan’s backcourt while Moritz Wagner has rewarded John Beilein’s confidence in his German freshman.

If Michigan makes it through the weekend it will have played in six games in 11 days, going back to the Wolverines’ first game in the Big Ten tournament. Beilein is trying to manage Michigan’s tired legs.
