Michigan defensive back / linebacker and return specialist Jabrill Peppers is a 70-1 long shot to win the Heisman Trophy in 2016.

New odds were released by the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook on Monday, and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson is the favorite at 5-1, followed by LSU running back Leonard Fournette and Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey at 6-1.

Watson was a 2015 Heisman finalist along with McCaffrey and Alabama running back Derrick Henry, who won the award.

There are no Michigan State players with odds of 100-1 or better.

Peppers had 45 tackles (5.5 for loss) and 10 pass breakups last season, 17 punt returns for 194 yards and eight kick returns for 223 yards. He also saw part-time duty as a running back and receiver.
